PHRYGIA. Lysias. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Assarion (Bronze, 21 mm, 5.34 g, 6 h), time of Gordian III, 238-244. ΒΟVΛΗ Diademed, veiled and draped bust of the Boulè to right. Rev. ΛVϹΙΑΔЄΩΝ Dionysos standing front, head to left, holding kantharos over panther in his right hand and scepter in his left. Martin, Lysias 3. RPC VII.1 727. Von Aulock Phrygien II, 609-624. Well struck and nicely preserved. Light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
